I’m a writer from Chicago.  About five years ago, I began writing reflective personal essays in which I examine my perception of reality.  These essays and their evolution can be found at The Blog of Innocence.  This site is an extension of the blog because it keeps in line with the spirit of inquiry and “innocence” about the world.  I’ve always been an avid reader, and nothing excites me more than discussing a good book.  Making video book reviews disciplines me to read more carefully and to think about the books I’m reading and the connections between them.  While this may appear to be a useful instrument for others, it is also a great boon to myself.  By discussing these books, I am working to understand them.  I hope you gain in knowledge and inspiration from these chats.
